Podcast Production

Outside of my work with NPR’s The 21st Show, I also produce a series of independent podcasts in both Russian and English for Anna Abramova, creating cross-cultural stories that explore identity, immigration, and womanhood. From booking the guest to final cut, I supervise the production process with a focus on authenticity, emotional depth, and narrative clarity.

Ж.Д.И. Подкаст Выпуск #1

Joining us is Irina Savakova, a mother, blogger, and businesswoman, and the founder of the creative agency Wice.

We talked about finding success on Instagram, building a creative agency from the ground up, and how motherhood inspired Irina to create her own product. All that and more in the pilot episode of Women, Money, and Immigration.

My Process

On Anna’s podcast, I manage the full production process: I book guests, research each topic, and help shape the structure and flow of each episode. I coordinate our team to keep everything on track and make sure deadlines are met.

Before we record, I support Anna with outlines and prep materials to guide the conversation. After recording, I review edits, give feedback on pacing and clarity, and work with our editor and motion designer to make sure each episode sounds polished and aligned with the story we want to tell.

Beyond audio, I also supervised the motion design for our visual assets and led the creation of the show’s brand book to make sure the podcast looks as good as it sounds. I write show notes, brainstorm titles, and support distribution and promotion, making sure every detail reflects the vision we’re building together.
