This short documentary was produced for Emmy-winning magazine show "Prairie Fire" on WILL-TV. We captured the story of "The Station Theatre" and community theatre as a whole.

This reel includes highlights of my TV broadcast work from August 2024 to January 2025.

Layli Nazarova met with the founders of Gatcha Matcha for an energizing interview that doubled as a cooking demo. They talked origin stories, matcha myths, and what makes ceremonial-grade green tea so special, while whipping up a smooth, frothy bowl of matcha together.

This story followed the series of campus order to prohibit protests on campus after pro-Palestinian protests last year. Diving in-depth of the law and understanding the difference between freedom of speech and vandalism through this story together. All elements of the story, as well as the pitch, were produced by Layli Nazarova. 

In March 2025, Layli Nazarova sat down with Chloe Beucler, Society of Women in Public Affairs president, to discuss the support system for women on UIUC campus and resources in this changing political climate.

This story was aired right before the election night, focusing on Americans who withheld their vote in this race. Who are these people, why do they decide not to vote and can they change the election outcome? Answers to all of these questions and more in this story. All elements of the story, as well as the pitch, were produced by Layli Nazarova.

Urbana-Champaign Reproductive Justice organized a period and reproductive essentials drive for menstruating individuals in the regions affected by Hurricane Helene.
